Get Keywords Competition Data AI Overview

Authentication required. Set the Authorization header to your SEOmonitor API token (raw JWT — no Bearer prefix). See the Authentication Guide for setup.

This endpoint returns the specified competitors' citation ranking data for a campaign, including their presence and citation ranking positions within AI Overview results. The response includes both traditional search rankings and AI Overview-specific metrics such as brand presence indicators.

Note: This endpoint extends the standard competition data with AI Overview metrics to help you understand competitor visibility in AI-generated search results.

Pagination. When competitors is given, limit and offset page through the keywords where at least one of those competitors is cited in the AI Overview on end_date for the requested device, so a page holds up to limit rows and an empty page means there is nothing left. When competitors is omitted (the campaign's own competitor list), the page is taken from the campaign's keyword list first and keywords where none of the competitors is cited are dropped, so pages can be shorter than limit; advance offset by limit until a page is empty.

Site sections. competitors also accepts a domain with a path (for example reddit.com/r/AskMakeupArtists) and returns that section's own citation rank and landing page. A path that matches nothing returns rank: 100 and landing_page: null, which is identical to the competitor genuinely not being cited — check the path before reading a 100 as absence.
